That is a great idea! How did you come up with that? When you flip the
basket, do the burgers stay in the same spot? I mean, is the basket kind of
flat where the burgers don't have much room to move around? I've never seen
one of these, but now I must go find one!

Fact is, they're called fish baskets.  I don't use them when smoking meat
because the handle sticks out and would let the smoke out, defeating the
purpose, but they're great for grilling burgers, steaks, chops, fish, and
even smaller items as long as they're not so small that they would fall
between the metal bars, which usually wouldn't happen.  The fish basket I
have is about 12 inches by 14 inches.
