One thing you have to remember about crockpot recipes, is that the times are never definite. It may take four hours, it may take five hours. You will have to check on it to see it's done-ness. If you think it will take four hours, then put the last item in at three hours and 30 minutes. If you think it will take five hours then put the last item in at four hours and 30 minutes. Different things Cook for different lengths of time in different places. You will just have to check on it to see how long it will take for you.

I do understand the discrepancy in the times for high and low, what I'm confused about is the individual times. like for instance, if I cook on high it says 4 to 5 hours. so I'm not sure if its 4 hours or 5 hours,s so I"m not sure when exactly to put in the pasta. the recipe does say 30 minutes before. so do I do it at 3 and a half hours or 4 and a half hours. That's where I'm confused. Sorry I wasn't clear in my last message. I will send the recipe when I'm done. Holly On Aug 21, 2013, at 7:35 AM, Holly Anderson <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi everyone.
