I have seen those tomato slicers at all places, grocery stores, Wal Mart,
Target.

That is actually what I do as well, but someone tried to slice an onion with
my tomato slicer, which ruins it by the way. Can u post where u got yours:
website or phone number? I loved mine. Very easy to use. Now I use a
serrated knife. Serrated edge cuts tomatoes best.

You are no trouble. This question is what this list is all about. I have
never cored or seeded a tomato. I lay the tomato on it's side, slice off
both ends and then slice the rest. I recently found a tomato slicer at
Bi-Los and it does all of the work for me. It is a handle with a
rectangular metal frame attached. the metal frame has several serrated
blades evenly spaced. I just lay the slicer down on the tomato and begin a
sawing motion. the slices come out even. I hope that this helps some.

Hi everyone,
I've debated asking these questions on the list because I should have
figured it out before now. So, at the risk of looking dumb, tell me how you
core and take the seeds out of a fresh tomato. I know putting them in
boiling water makes them easier to remove the skin. If I just want to slice
the tomato do I need to remove the seeds? Sorry to be this much trouble.
Thanks in advance,
Nancy Martin
