I love avacadoes and guacamole too. I've never handled an avocado by myself
and hope it's not too hard to do.

Wendy,

When an avocado is ripe it will be a little soft, but only a little. You don’t
want it to be mushy, but when its ripe you should be able to feel a little bit
of give or softness to it. I love them cut up in my salad and guackomoli too!

I feel uneasy asking this question, but I really do not know a lot about
avocadoes. Sometimes I eat it in a salad. Is it typical for it to be stringy?
Wendy
