Hi all !!

Hi!

1. When we do the superposition in coot, does it give the angle of rotation? like it needs 30 deg to rotate and x A translation along the axis. I tried looking in the terminal but i couldn't get it.. it would be extreemly usefull, if coot prints the lmn of the rotation axis and a point on the rotation axis.

If you are using a pre-release build after revision 963 (April 17 2008), then SSM superpose should also display Euler and Polar angles in the terminal. The polar angles contain the info you want - kappa (3rd number) is the angle of rotation. Omega and phi (1st and second numbers) give the direction of the rotation axis.

Yes, coot prints it. You have to scroll up beyond the table of differences if you mean SSM superpose. For LSQ position, the fractional matrix is also printed.

2. How to colour each molecule separately...

Edit/bond colours

In conjunction with Display Manager -> Bonds (Colour by Molecule).
