Dear Johannes, In the past, I had some good experience when exporting LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=0 (or LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1, not sure anymore, I think I tried them both, and only resulted in good behavior) before starting coot in WLS2. Also, I noticed that when the GUI got stuck, minimizing and re-maximizing the screen could do the trick.
Kind regards, Erwin -----Original Message----- From: Mailing list for users of COOT Crystallographic Software <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Paul Emsley Sent: maandag 23 november 2020 15:33 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: WSL2 installation On 23/11/2020 14:01, Johannes Cramer wrote: > Dear all, > > I recently tried to get my work environment running on Ubuntu20.04 run > through Windows10 with WSL2. It might be a race condition between the gui and the graphics. Try adjusting your graphics driver optimization level. > When I type ldd /opt/xtal/ccp4-7.1/libexec/coot-bin I get no missing > libraries. That's good.
