We've seen this problem with VcXsrc. If that's what you're using, you
may want to try Xming instead.

export LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1 or 0 does not change anything. Resizing
changes the cropping of the picture, but the coordinates part of the

In windows I switched off all post processing for VcXsrv (which I use
for displaying). No change.
Can/should I disable optimization in wsl2?

What about CCP4mg or Chimera?

It might be a race condition between the gui and the graphics. Try
adjusting your graphics driver
optimization level.
