Hello  here is another webrev ,   I  adjusted   
test/jdk/tools/launcher/Arrrghs.java   a bit  taking your suggestions into 
account .

There exist  already quite a few tests  using "-jar  some.jar"   with "normal"  
/ shorter paths   in  test/jdk/tools/launcher/Arrrghs.java    .
