Hello all, Extracted from the Tyrone Constitution [Omagh, Co. Tyrone], October 29 1869:
On Saturday morning last, a woman named JANE McSHANE, of Donaghanie [Clogherney parish], was proceeding to Omagh Market, seated on a load of flax, when she fell off receiving a fracture of one of her legs, besides sustaining injuries to other parts of her body. She was admitted to the [Omagh] Infirmary same day and still remains there under medical treatment. Additional notes: There are no McShanes recorded as tithe payers in the Clogherney Parish tithe applotment book (1826), but three families are recorded at Donaghanie in Griffiths Valuation of Clogherney c1860: JOHN, MARY & MATTHEW I hope someone finds a McSHANE forebear amongst these folk and regards, Len Swindley, Melbourne, Australia Sent from Mail<https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=550986> for Windows 10
