Thanks Harry! When the weather gets a little better, I'll give everything a close and careful inspection. My plane does have a new panel in it.
The old tank repairs appear to have been very well done, and I have had no problems. There's no eveidence of anything rubbing now. I guess the main thing is that the tank is not leaking, secure, and there is some clearance between it and the controls.
