My 415C just has about 3/16" clearense.A good preflt. control check is a must.I recently installed fus tank in my hanger mates 415c s/n 834. Besides the straos the front part of tank sits on a longeron at the front. The rear has a flange attached to tank & you bolt the flange to B frame on the fuslage. This seems to make it secure. I haven't checked for control Quadrant clearence yet(Quad. being rebuilt) I do hope this helps you some. Ted. A/P Sacramento, Ca.
