I had nosebowl mounted lights in a 182 and liked how they
illuminated the runway centerline, but:

(A) They burnt out far to often, due to constant vibration
that you don't get on the wing.
(B) When burnt out, they were far more difficult to change
than the wing-mounted ones in my Alon.
