We're annualling our '58 Forney (extensively). We have the Belleville
springs and our tail does sit a little low, but I haven't had any problems
landing at all (including crosswinds). Do I need to shim or replace the
springs with donuts? Also, what kind of oil goes into the landing struts,
- our manual talks about Marvel Mystery Oil?? And is the same oil used in
the nose strut? We have the single fork strut if that makes a difference.
Thanks to one and all.
