Don,  I paid $1400.00 for the avionics guy to go through my Coupe and just
clean everything up and get
it working.  No new installations, just fine tuning. Works great now.   I
don't know anything about the
Sporty's handheld, but if you don't have a head set with it, I doubt
you'll
need the new antenna, as you
won't be able to hear anything anyway.
