I've not had a problem working under the panel.  Let's see. carefully,
while
seated, pivot legs to the
right, lifting them and sticking them out of the canopy.  Continue
pivoting
to the right, until legs are
up over the center of the canopy.  Then while completely bent over with
nose
on belly button, flop over
until head is on floor boards.  Carefully turn until back is on floor, and
back of head is on brake
pedal.  At that point, work on anything under the panel.  After completion
of work, have coworker tie
rope around ankles, and elevate with overhead crane.  This will slide you
up
and out with no problem.
Piece of cake.
