Jim, I have an Electronics International electronic tach in my airplane
and
EGT, and CHT. however all these instruments are STC APPROVED for the Alon
and ERcoupe. Many of their instruments are NOT approved and if that is the
case, YOU CAN ONLY INSTALL THEM IN AN EXPERIMENTAL AIRPLANE.
It does not matter to the FAA if it is BETTER or SAFER, They want the
PAPERWORK!
