I got told that these Ground straps are needed in case if lightning striking. The high voltage currency seeks the path of least resistance and that would be if the straps are not there the hinges of Ailerons and rudders . These now get spot welted by that current and that would tremendously reduce the flying qualities of your coupe. For the static in radio receptions it would not matter. But this is all hangar talk. I added the missing straps to N94804 anyway, just because either or both explanations make sense.
