I agree that you need to depend on your A&P and CFI. However when people who know the aircraft type urge even more caution, it might be wise to heed that as well. Do as you choose, it being your responsibility and your backside. All I can say is that, if it were me, I would remain unconvinced that the root cause of my engine stoppage had been fully addressed by the switch to 100LL from MoGas.
