I seriously looked into it a couple of years ago. There was apparently
one played with years ago, but the project was dropped due to extremely
high labor involvement and cost of getting the STC. There was apparently
a mold made at one time for the tips, but I couldn't get anyone to check
and even see if they would produce one set and let me worry about paper
work. I guess the problem was that with the Coupe's round wing tips, they
had to completely rebuild the ends of the wings to install the tips.

Good morning all, been kind of quiet on the site lately , so I thought I
would liven things up. There has been a lot of discussion about minimum
flying speed, has anyone ever contacted Robinson about a STOL experiment
with a Coupe?. The one thing that comes to mind is installing drooping
wingtips to stop the loss of air caused by the dihedral. Any ideas? Pete
