There is however some merit to having a guidance system that keeps you
exactly on course when the wind blows.

t5he VOR ever did. I haven't used my vor since I got the GPS. Also it most
likely not cost you anymore then installing a VOR. Another plus is it will
identify all the controled airspace exactly and avoid explaining your
presance to a F16 pilot with big guns and a no sense of humor. Just a
thought
