I've had my Ercoupe for a little over a year and have used only Auto gas or 80. The only exception was on a cross country and when I stopped for fuel, all I could get was 100LL. The rest of the trip was uneventful, but the next time I started the plane, I had a stuck valve. After pulling the cylinder, reaming the valve guide and replacing the rings, it was back to auto fuel for me and I've had no more problems.
