Yes it is delightful to fly. What fun to approach the field at about a 30 degree crab, touch down, let the inertia and mass of the ercoupe straingten up the bird in the directiion of flight, the nose swings around; the nose wheel touches down, wings lose lift, and drive it to the exit. Sometimes in real winds, the upper wind wing will stay in the air for a whild, until the nose gear is on and the lift is dumped - exciting operating on the other main and the nose wheel... If the coupe has a double fork nose gear, then it is necessary to install collars on the main gear so the aircraft is back at its designed attitude when sitting on the gear- negative angle of attack - Otherwise, the plane - sitting tail low, has sufficient angle of attack so that it is very squirely on the after landing roll, still trying to fly - especially if you're a little fast.
fly safe - have fun. Paul Prentice did these books out of love for his fellow humans, the ercoupe, and airplanes in general. The address I gave you is his home.. He probably lost a great deal of his retirement on publishing these delightful books
