I just replaced a Whelen rotating beacon on the top of the fuselage of a
Cessna 140 With the Whelen HRCF. The old beacon was not noticable form the
cockpit. I used the split lens, although I thought the all white one would
be better. Good choice, as the new one is very noticable from the cockpit,
to the point of being a distraction on the ground.
