Hi, Dale.
I envy your good weather! It is fixing to rain here in Portland; we do
not
distunguish between 'again' or 'still' when we say 'rain again.'
Now, about cruise speeds. After I got 29H in New Mexico, I felt it was
a 90-MPH airplane. Then I flew it (through Arizona) to Oregon. When I
got into the Willamette Valley, I got more speed out of less RPM! It was
the lower, cooler air that did it. I still prefurr to loaf around at 90
MPH
indicated. It can be flown slower - I can get to 65 MPH before the sink
sets in.
I note one persons comments about landing. When compared to a
Cessna 150, the `coupe has better landings over a smaller speed
range. It does fly different, and it has takem me a couple years to
get it about right.
