Really,  I don't have to have the last word, and seldom do.  But if you
don't pull your prop through like the engine IS going to start, you are
quite remiss.  In other words, use your head.  Don't stand where a prop
could strike you, and pull it through like you were trying to start it.
However, the probability of an engine starting in cold weather without
priming, and with the mix off (if available) is quite slim.
