Larry, are you just pulling our legs or are you serious. Then again I
might
have misread your post.

Are you saying that a prop repitch will effect the accuracy or calibration
of the tach because if you are I must correct you. The tach purely shows
crankshaft RPM and has nothing to do with peripheral items including the
prop.  If the tach has a 10% under-read a prop repitch will certainly
allow
the crank to spin at a different RPM but the 10 % under-read of the tach
will still be there.

In other words tach error can only (and I emphasize ONLY) be corrected by
shop calibration of the tach.
