I just completed an owner assisted annual in Apple Valley, CA and my IA/AP/?? has allowed me to check and repair minor items which he later looked over and approved. It was a very thorough annual and I went down the checklist from Ercoupers.com. The more critical items where his knowledge was necessary to check items I watched and learned which to me was a big help. Some items will not get done until better WX (although it is always pretty good up here in the High Desert), like replacing the cracked rear window and some paint
scratches, etc. I have never been ripped off by my IA but I have known him for 13-14 years. He is the one who sold me the Ercoupe 415D I know own. His mechanics that assist him also own two Ercoupes and I am trying to get them to join EOC and CACOUPERS.
