I'm debating the same thing with myself. Does 'insurance' mean 'insurance
against
having no gas at all' or 'insurance against having to run 100LL?' The
scientific
research strongly suggests the latter.

I have the STC. More importantly, I have the right fuel system components
to use
auto fuel. (Delrin carb needle, auto-gas-proof fuel gauge components,
etc.)

I also have red gas on my home field, but as I wander farther away, I'll
see
less of it. I have a can of TCP that says "DO NOT CARRY IN AIRCRAFT!"
on it. Great. That's useful.
