This sounds strange to me.  If the nose gear is still hooked to the
ailerons, why
don't you just steer it down the runway?  I don't know about other Coupes,
but mine
steers very well thank you with the wheel.  It sounds like you're trying
to ignore
that, and just steer it with the rudder pedals.  If God had intended a
coupe to
steer that way, he'd have put the pedals in them.  And, as we all know,
Coupes were
created pure.  Later man corrupted them.
