However, it takes very little tilt and the bowl is still so low that I doubt it hurts its ability to trap water, but you never know. Even if it trapped water better when perfectly vertical, the first time I slipped it, did an uncoordinated turn, a steep climb, etc. it would be tilted just as much in one direction or another. I do drain mine before each flight but a lot of people can't be bothered to do so. Glen Ward
