Since I have the GATS jar, yes, I tend to fill it. And I find that the
drains run faster and more furious when you can open them all
the way and keep them open for a spell.  I've noticed the difference
since switching from the old test-tube. The drains seem to be in
a clearer state to start with.

With the GATS, all the gas is going back in the tank anyway. It
doesn't take long to get 12 or 14oz of fuel out at full speed. About
the same time it does to fill the test tube when you're being careful
not to run it over.

The jar is really a superior product, worth the (rather exorbitant)
price.
