Probably just symantics, but there are no cam bearings to spin.  The cam
runs 
in the case without inserts.

I would recommend against welding cylinders.  New cylinders for these
engines 
are much more cost effective in the long run.  For that matter, I'd only 
overhaul them if they are first run.  Very few weld jobs last to TBO and  
very few second run cylinders make it through the third run.
