Night flying was increadable, I can't wait to solo and then fly anytime I want. I put a red strobe on the top behind the windows and a white strobe on the belly. You should do it so you can night fly. I went out today and did some emergency proceedures, I was on downwind and my instructor pulled back my throtle and said "you know have an engine out, what are you going to do?" I went into my best glide and headed for runway 30. When he pulled back the throtle I was at the numbers on downwind, so I made a sweeping base to final and keeping my best glide , I pulled it around and got her lined up and set her down just like you pros would probably do it. It felts so good, I cried out with a loud yippie ki yaa , Next time I'll move my mike away from my mouth before yelling anything into the intercom. I have not been this excited about anything like this for along time :) It is so much fun being at complete control not just a passenger.
