This is one thing I forgot to mention when I referred to the tank being
above 
the pump, or carb.  You wwant a straight "down hill" shot from the tank to

the carb, at all attitudes.  Even worse is if the high spot is above the 
level in the tank.  Wasn't that the issue with the British made trainer
the 
Airforce was using?
