----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- I'm a little fuzzy on this. The Ercoupe obviously misses out on three of the six points indicated. It looks obvious to me that they are attempting to single out a specific class of aircraft, which the Coupe obviously does not match. My Coupe "stalls around 52 kt, cruises around 90-95 kt, and gross's 1250. What possible reason is there for trying to get the Coupe included in this class. To me it seems a little demeaning. The Coupe is not an ultra light, and is not a particularly low performance aircraft. As far as I'm concerned, I'd just as soon see pilots have to be fully licensed to fly one.
