It was because of hard-learned lessons. I can't wait until we get owner maintenance and one-week pilots licenses. It will be like the ultralight bunch, who seem determined to repeatedly re-learn every dumb mistake ever made in the early days, and kill themselves in the process! I hope and would pray if I believed in it, that the Ercoupe is not included in these proposals that the EAA crew wants. The landing speed alone is enough to warrant keeping the ultralight bunch out of it. Glen Ward
