Turn base at the same place and altitude and again adjust > your speed, same thing on final and aim at the same point for touchdown. A good tip on staying in the same downwind pattern - I line the frist roll of rivets, from my wing tips, on the center line of the runway as I go downwind. This keeps me the same distance from the runway for each landing (if I'm at the same alt.). This works, regardless of the airport, if the same AGL maintained. If you don't have rivets mark, a point with tape. After you get use to it take the tape off. I've seen tape on several Cessna's, on the 2x4 that holds the wings on.
