I agree: >or to the new pilot who learns the coupe experience first --it's no problem..<
I only had 2 hours in a 150 before I got the 'coupe, so finished up my instruction in it and then took my flight check in it and then flew in it for 14 years, so far. I usually land on a long runway (4000'+) and still try to touch down on the numbers, roll out to the first intersection and turn off usually with out using brakes. Landings have never been any real big problem even after a winter lay-off. I try to gauge the decent, flare and touch down point after turning final, without having to add power. I like to have my "youg eagles" riders ask, "when are we going" to land. My landings would look much different in a high wing. My 'Coupe is easy!! Earl NY 93826
