Last Dec. when 99371 lost it's prop and did felt really poorly after the stop. The FAA saw it the next morning an that evening it was ready to truck back to the airport. That poor bird was a night mare of the sins we are talking about. Yes, my ass could have been out in the cold. the only thing anybody wanted to see was the crankshaft and the log of the engine. Rigging was left turns only please. Right turns, pilot and copilot shift your weight push down hard. Maybe the insurance company just go after the big fish? The FAA&NTSB both were good to work with. The only problem I had was the FAA wanted a A&P to
open the case. But as I told them anyone can open it, it is just closing it that needs a sign off. I open it when NTSB was there. Yours, Warren H.
