If you do pull the plugs "every few hours", please do it right with the 
torque set for 30 ft/lbs if you have heli-coils and not the bronze
inserts.  
Always use new copper gaskets and not reheated ones as they are often
warped 
and distorted.  Do use TCP if you can, change the oil no later than 25
hours 
and 120 days.  Avoid long ground runs and compare your baffles to an O-200

engine as they have better ones than the original coupe ones.  Check the
soft 
baffling for leakage at the back.   How is your oil pressure after a
twenty 
minute flight at normal cruise.  Check the carburetor for jet size and
throat 
diameter perhaps the wrong one was installed and the engine is running on
the 
lean side.  Recheck the timing isn't advanced too far from normal.  Lastly

avoid "jerking" the power off and landing with no power and long glides at

low power settings leading to "shock cooling" perhaps.  good luck/tom
