The reported bug is with Courier-IMAP not NuPOP.  Seem's NuPOP is making
some hidden files of it's own in the Maildir and Courier-IMAP seems to
think  their folders.  Unless something in the Maildir spec forbids hidden
files, I think this could easily be fixed by patching Courier-IMAP to
ignore files and only list directories when doing a IMAP folder listing.
