Try it with even just 5000 clients (let alone > 50k)
where the helpdesk spend 90% of it's time dealing
with just this issue. Something has to give.

I (almost) totally agree. I think the courier system
is the best there is and remarkably flexible and Sams
help on this list is simply excellent. I just can't
believe he would let 4 lines of code, that allows users
of his great software to have the CHOICE whether they
can withstand the level of complaints it creates or
not, to nullify all it's good features.
