My guess is that it is authdaemond. This was my mailserver but had a
problem with the hardware brought it back about a month or two later.
I brought all up to date from the backup server. I reinstalled a
newer version of courier and haven't been about to get it to receive
mail, sends fine.

The error message that seems to be the problem is:

Oct 19 09:04:59 ec courieresmtpd: authdaemon: s_connect() failed: No
such file or directory
Oct 19 09:04:59 ec courieresmtpd: error,relay=189.251.20.242,msg="502
ESMTP command error",cmd: DATA
Oct 19 09:05:47 ec courieresmtpd:
error,relay=189.251.20.242,from=<[email protected]>,to=<[email protected]>:
450 Service temporarily unavailable.

This is a FreeBSD maching running 9.0-CURRENT and courier-0.63.0_1
courier-authlib-base-0.63.0_2 courier-authlib-ldap-0.63.0_2

I'm using the same configuration for both authlib and courier that is
sending and receiving to this list. [189.251.20.242} The machine that
is generating the error message is [189.251.6.104].

I've been fooling with this for more time than I am willing to admit.
I'm sure that is a dumb mistake that I should have been able to find
and correct but .....

Thanks. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
