Or is this your first time running courier on FreeBSD? The biggest
gotcha for a long time user of anything in a unix environment but a
first time user in FreeBSD will be the tiny root slice that is
created, make sure you've mounted or linked /var to some partition
other than / if you want to avail of more than a gig or so of
diskspace, the root partition tends to fill up very quickly if you
don't do that.

Might be a red herring, but hth....
