When a thread generates such a piece of humour (not "humor", British
humour of the best kind) as Tom's  I use to come to two conclusions:

a) the whole thread has been justified

b) it should be brought to rest for a while, at least until some of
us stop laughing.

Ah, and I won't add my refurbished definition of imperialism because
I am too busy working at extra jobs in order to pay for the surplus
value that is being extracted from my country towards the First World
in order to ensure that the whole economic machine does not crash
down because oil in the clogs has vanished.

Well, that _was_ my refurbished definition, but I did not mean it!
