Ooops, I think I just called Stan "CB"! Sorry!

Charles see my response to Stan for more on this thread.

Yes, you see it as the major problem for the slaves. I am trying to get you
to step back and see that the whole practice of agriculture carries some
problems that only showed up in rabbits, and gophers, etc, but must be dealt
with TOO. Because it's only after 10000 years that the problems for the
rabbits have become problems for the slaves too.

>The rain forests were doing fine during old Egypt and Mesopotamia.

Yes. Is is fair to remind you that this is a short-sided viewpoint? The
threat to the rainforests was set in motion in Mesopo-Egypt. It just took
10000 years for Ashurbinapuls (sp) plan to dominate rainforests to become
apparent. It's taking a bit longer for the rainforests' counter attack to
become common knowledge.

>Maybe the myth we need to refer to is "killing the goose that laid the

>reckless indifference to the life of the Goose that lays our golden eggs
>and all of our eggs. ( The Goose being the ecosystem humans depend on for

Yayyyyyyyyyy!! Now that IS progress!!!! We can both agree with THAT 100%!!!

God, I'm gonna have to quit typing a while, (the crowd cheers some more!) I
actually have to go do some capitalism right now, bad as I hate to.

thanks!

Tom
