Oh yeah, one more thing I forgot to mention - I used to clean the distributor cap terminals/contacts/ whatever the stupid things are up inside the cap. Come to find out that once the corrosion appears on the terminals and is significant, the metal has undergone a change in chemistry and resists current significantly higher than a new cap. Replace the cap and full power is restored (along with more horsepower) and it's dramatic. Not bad for a $20 fix.

Are you getting a strong enough spark? First thing I would try after checking for spark would be to pull the distributor cap off and scrape the slag off the contacts/terminals (whatever you would like to call them) Then see if it's strating any better. I don't remember who cleared this up for me, but someone said that the gurguling sound is the fuel trying to ignite at a location other than TDC. I had a similar problem, and ended up getting a MSD setup. -M >From: "Lance Topham" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: "Lance Topham" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: CRX: car won't start >Date: Sat, 29 Jun 2002 09:31:02 -0600 > >I have a 1993 Honda Civic Lx that will not start.
