I am running a Greddy Sp which I believe is no longer produced in the US but I do believe some shops may have some.  Greddy came out with the MX which sounds just as good as the SPbut has a different tip. Though  the Greddy's are more expensive 400$ + it is not the most price economical, but the Fit and finish is almost OEM, the muffler fits and looks good and the sound is deep and growling at idle but not raspy and obtrusive when your foot gets heavy.  I have also removed my CAT and replaced it with a "Test Pipe" and it is still not that loud. Just my 2 cents

I went down to a local muffler shoppe and had them weld on my current muffler and exhaust tip.  They used the stock pipe from the cat and then welded and mandrel bent a section of pipe to fit the muffler.  They used the stock hangers too.  The muffler is described on the invoice as a "Bullet Stainless Steel Muffler".  It has a very nice mellow tone and when I romp on the the throttle, it still keeps it's mellow tone.  It's not loud and raspy.

Even when I did the DC header and Random Tech cat installation, it still kept it's mellow tone.  It seems to provide the proper back pressure as I have not seen a loss in performance or MPG. I had it installed in 1999 shortly after I installed my body kit and picked it up from the paint shoppe.

I paid about $145 (USD) which included everything (muffler, my choice of tip and the welding/labor...).
