Anyone got any experience with any racing or
aluminum radiators for the CRX? I am wondering about putting one in the
racecar if it fits properly and will cool better than stock. I
was planning on installing a large two rowfrom an Accord like one
othjer guy in the class but I have to make mounts and custom run the
hoses. Just not thrilled with the needed modifications and lack of a good
fit. I'd really like to have a drop in system already made for the CRX,
would take one headache out of the completion of the car. The new class
they moved my racecar into now goes from unlimited compression to a new max of
11:1 so I don't think heat will be such an issue.
I know Fluidyne makes one and found some by Koyo
while surfing. Prices seem to be in the mid to high $300s. Although they
look nice, pretty is not the goal, better cooling is. Anyone got any
experience with them?
