Nah the GUI didn?t change.

 

When I said it worked fine I was just talking about running more than 10 active

I made a map with 100 spawn points for csgo and after editing it into the 
gamemodes.txt it worked fine with 66 bots. ( 66 is the +maxplayers limit )

 

All that?s needed is more spawn points to be added to the maps, and the gui 
changed to support more players.

uhhh obviously.... The game is in beta and is currently hard coded to allow 
only 10 players per server. Dont get ahead of yourself, they just released the 
servers to us.

Wait patiently for them to unlock the player #. They are gathering data still. 
In due time they will they allow the full amount which appears to be 34...

like a scoreboard that will show more than 5 players on a team, a team join
menu that will allow more than 5 players on a team and so forth so
supporting more than 5v5 goes beyond spawn points. It's a simple question
really - will GO at release have working support such that server ops can
provide servers that actually can have more than 10 players.

I'm pretty sure most server ops and orgs want to know if this is going to be
the case.
